We’ve got this awkward alcove in the living room that’s perfect for built-in shelving but the walls taper slightly so nothing pre-made sits right. Thinking of getting bespoke glass shelves to display some ceramics and keep it looking light. Just not sure which company to trust with measurements and cutting. Anyone used a reliable bespoke glass supplier for home shelving projects?

I had an alcove like that and made the mistake of ordering standard glass shelves first. They were only a few millimetres off, but it looked awful once fitted. A local fitter later templated the space properly and the bespoke shelves sat perfectly, with plenty of room for ceramics without making the corner feel heavy. If you’re around Hounslow, I’d check glazier Hounslow and ask about measuring and edge finishing. Getting the template right is the key.
