I’ve been experimenting with Gates of Hades lately, and this guide https://gates-of-hades.games/ helped me rethink how time of day affects the way I play. On workdays I keep sessions short, use the demo to test ideas and mostly observe how the cascades and multipliers behave. Late at night the dark underworld vibe and tense music feel stronger, so I slow down, set strict limits on time and possible loss, and stop as soon as I hit the goals I planned in advance.
