Hey everyone! I’m remodeling my living space and want an eco-friendly parquet solution. I’ve seen bamboo and cork mentioned, but I’m not sure how they compare to more traditional woods in terms of durability. Last year, I visited a friend who had reclaimed wood floors, which looked amazing. I’d love suggestions on sustainable yet stylish options!

Hi there, I’ve been researching green flooring too! Bamboo grows quickly and is considered renewable, but reclaimed hardwood can also be an excellent eco-conscious choice. If you want more details on sourcing and certifications, check flooring in Edinburgh. They discuss environmentally friendly materials and highlight which ones last the longest. Let us know what you settle on!

Hello all! I popped into this thread out of pure curiosity because I’m hoping to go greener with my next renovation. It’s cool to see how people factor in the environmental impact of their floors, not just aesthetics. I didn’t realize how many alternatives existed beyond standard hardwood. Looking forward to reading more about these earth-friendly solutions!
