My colleagues here suggested I check out the main event at UFC 330: Makhachev vs. Machado Garry on 08/16 at 7:00 a.m., so I decided to try my hand at making predictions for the first time in my life. I signed up for the social sportsbook Sportzino because people said it’s a good platform where you can play for free coins. I see the odds there: Islam Makhachev is at -367, and Ian Machado Garry is at +266.

Can you advise a newbie on who to choose, and is Sportzino really a user-friendly social sportsbook? Oh, and what’s the range of options like for such big fights—does it make sense to choose the method of victory, or is it better to just go with a regular win prediction?

Sportzino is widely regarded as one of the best social sportsbooks because it provides starting coins and allows you to play entirely for free. As for the fight itself, Makhachev is the clear favorite thanks to his wrestling skills, but the odds on Gerry are tempting.
I suggest you to better understand how many coins each prediction will yield and the alternative options available, check out UFC Fight Odds, where all types of lines, from totals to the exact method of victory, are explained. For your first try, I think you are better off placing on a straight win or an “over” on the total rounds, and then moving on to more complex options later. Which do you prefer more, strikers or grapplers?
