Has anyone here tinted their front and rear car windows mainly for comfort rather than appearance? I’m thinking about it because summer driving gets annoying when the cabin heats up quickly, but I don’t want the car to look overly dark or attract unnecessary attention.

I had mine done mostly because the glare during longer drives was getting tiring, especially in the late afternoon. The biggest difference was not the look of the car, but how much calmer the cabin felt once the sun was not hitting directly through the side glass. I spent some time reading about car window tint before choosing a lighter shade, and that was the right move for me. It still looks clean from outside, but inside it feels more comfortable without making visibility awkward.
